NEWS ARCHIVE 200223/12 2002: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!We want to wish everyone a nice Christmas and a very happy new year. As some of you have noticed, we have a poll in the albums section. The results up to this date is that Redhanded is on top with 27% of the votes, closely followed by Storyteller with 21% of the votes. At the bottom is Intermission Troldhaugen with 4%; maybe because it's a departure from Mads' usual repertoire. We are confident that the new record, scheduled for spring/summer 2003, will turn out to be Mads' best album. Until then, you can still vote. See you next year! 09/12 2002: PREVIOUS RELEASES AVAILABLE!Good news to all of you who have desperately been trying to get hold of Mads' earlier albums: his first four records Journey (1990), Storyteller (1991), Intermission Troldhaugen (1993) and M.E (1994) has recently been reprinted and are distributed in Norway through BareBraMusikk. If you live outside Norway or for other reasons have trouble finding the records, let us know and we'll help you. 30/09 2002: RECORDING POSTPONED, MORE CONCERTSThe recording of a new album with Chris Thompson and Mads Eriksen, due to take place in Auckland, New Zealand in november 2002, is postponed until march/april next year. They are currently writing material for the album, which will also include a version of Thompson's smash hit You're The Voice. Chris Thompson has so far not released his own version of this song, which was a worldwide hit with Australian singer John Farnham in the mid-80's and the biggest hit ever in Australia with 22 weeks on top of the charts. Chris Thompson will tour with Mads Eriksen Band in Northern Norway in November and also appear on National television (NRK).
